Ghana’s Thomas Partey caught in ‘heated discussion’ with Arsenal teammate Lacazette

 


Ghana international Thomas Partey was involved in a ‘heated discussion’ with Arsenal teammate Alexander Lacazette in their game against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup.

The Gunners inflicted a 3-0 win over Wimbledon mid-week to progress to the next stage of the competition setting up a fourth-round clash with Premier League side Leeds United.

Partey was impressive marshalling the Gunners midfield With the French star opening the scoring for the club.

But according to Arsenal journalist Chris Wheatley, he caught the duo in a heated argument at halt-time.

“When the players were actually going into the tunnel, I noticed a fairly heated discussion between Alexandre Lacazette and Thomas Partey.

On his YouTube channel, revealed he caught Lacazette and Partey in an explosive chat at half-time.

“It looked like Lacazette was maybe a little bit frustrated; perhaps he was isolated up front.

“Of course, he did score from the penalty spot, but I donR 17;t think it was the best performance from Lacazette against Wimbledon. And clearly, there was a talk on the stroke of half-time between the two players.

“I’m not quite sure what it was about, but Lacazette was fairly animated in terms of throwing his hands up in the air, shrugging his shoulders.
